CERRON Commercial Properties began when Jack Matasosky, founder of APPRO Development, saw a need for real estate assistance among his clients. Specifically, some of his existing clients needed help with leasing and sales of commercial and industrial properties.

Today, as a full-service, integrated commercial real estate broker, CERRON helps business owners buy, sell, or lease commercial properties in Minnesota, with a focus on industrial, office, retail, and land development.

CERRON is led by Jack and Co-Owner Bruce Rydeen, with Roz Peterson (Agent) and Kris Bockelman (Agent/Business Manager) filling out the team. As a team, they assist clients with:

Meet Jack Matasosky, CERRON Commercial Properties Owner and Real Estate Broker

How long have you been with CERRON, how did you get started, and what does your job entail? 

I’ve been here since the beginning. We started CERRON as a full-service strategy to provide our clients access to real estate sales and leasing services that would complement what APPRO Development provided on the design and build side. 

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

The most rewarding outcome for CERRON is when we have become a go-to resource for our clients in every aspect of real estate. We help them with everything from acquisitions and dispositions to investment analysis, leasing activity, and more.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

Definitely Bruce Rydeen joining the team and building the business into what it is today. His tireless work ethic and integrity have built a customer base rooted in trust.

How have you grown professionally while on the team?

I initially served as a licensed agent for a set of multi-tenant office/warehouse properties. From there, I grew to become the managing broker involved in all aspects of real estate — sales, leasing, property management, etc.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you. 

How can I possibly so immensely enjoy something I am so poor at (GOLF!)?

How long have you been with CERRON, how did you get started, and what does your job entail? 

I’ve been with CERRON Commercial Properties for 22 years. I was previously in the corporate world and wanted to pursue something different, so I joined the team here. My focus is on sales and leasing, and I am also a partner in CERRON..  

What accomplishment are you most proud of, and how have you grown professionally while on the team? 

I feel the most pride when I see the growth and success of our clients. Working with the team over the years has helped me grow my deal making skills.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you. 

Something most people don’t know about me is that I am a huge race car fan!

 

Meet Roz Peterson, CCIM, Commercial Real Estate Agent

How long have you been with CERRON, how did you get started, and what does your job entail? 

We sold our family drug store business in 2006, so I decided to go into our other business, commercial real estate. I joined CERRON because I had gotten to know Jack Matasosky through the Lakeville Chamber over the years. I got to know Bruce as well, and you couldn’t ask for more solid people to work with!

I have been with CERRON ever since, and my focus is on sales and leasing for retail, land, office, and industrial, primarily in the south metro area.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

The accomplishments I am most proud of are my now grown children who have thriving careers and are either married or engaged.  

How have you grown professionally while on the team?

I really enjoy the collaborative nature of the APPRO-CERRON team. The experience that everyone has here has truly helped me become more knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and the process involved to get a deal done.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you.

Most people know that I’m an avid snowmobiler, but this winter was a dud. So instead, I filled my free time working out in an infrared sauna at 130 degrees for an hour every day.

 

Meet Kris Bockelman, Business Manager and Agent

How long have you been with CERRON, how did you get started, and what does your job entail? 

I have been a part of the APPRO-CERRON team for 10 years. In my dual role, I am responsible for marketing, human resources, and general office management for both APPRO Development and CERRON Commercial Properties.

It has been amazing to be a part of this team’s incredible success over the years!

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

I am most inspired by Bruce Rydeen because he works tirelessly for our clients! Bruce will go to all ends to assist his clients — helping them find the right property, negotiate the best terms, attend city meetings in the interest of the client, etc. — all in the most kind, genuine and ethical manner.

How have you grown professionally while on the team?

I have grown immensely over the past 10 years by observing and working with the best people, continually learning about the industry, looking for ways to improve processes, and taking on new responsibilities.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you.

I am training for my 6th Inline Marathon — yes, that’s 26.2 miles on rollerblades!
